Dedicated Power Circuits Provide the Fastest Charging Speeds
When you first buy your electric car, you can probably get by with the standard charging cable, at least for a little while. If you drive frequently or over long distances, though, you are likely to get frustrated with the slow charging speeds after a few days. With the standard cable, you’ll be pulling power from the same circuit as the rest of your home. This can make it more difficult for your car to get the power it needs and can also impact the electronic devices inside your home.
With a charging station, on the other hand, your EV will be the only thing drawing power from the circuit. This will maximise your charging speeds and avoid any possible complications for the rest of your home.
Tesla EV Charger Installation
Once the infrastructure is in place, it will only take us an hour or so to install the charging station. Finally, we’ll spend a bit of time testing and inspecting the installation to ensure your new charging station is working as it should.
Tesla charging stations can nearly triple your charging speeds over those you’d get with the standard charging cable. This will enable you to fully charge your car overnight so your battery is at full capacity when you are ready to go the next morning.
Hyundai EV Charger Installation
Putting in a Hyundai charger follows the same steps as the Tesla charger. We’ll conduct an initial inspection of your electrical system to ensure it is equipped to handle your new Hyundai charger. If needed, we’ll install any necessary upgrades or make modifications to prepare your system. Depending on how much work your system needs, this process can take a day or two. Once that is done, we can install your new Hyundai EV charger and test that everything is working correctly.
With a dedicated Hyundai charging station, you’ll be able to charge your vehicle in approximately nine hours. Hyundai EVs also come with a unique feature that enables you to program when to charge your vehicle. If you are using grid power, you’ll be able to set your system to only charge during off-peak hours so you can save on your energy bills.
Nissan EV Charger Installation
Installing a Nissan charging station follows basically the same process as the previous two. After the initial inspection, we’ll know what changes or upgrades, if any, your electrical system will need to accommodate the charger. After we prepare your system, we can install and test your charger.
Nissan charging stations can deliver full battery charge in six to eight hours, so your vehicle will always be ready to go. Nissan EVs also come with the ability to return power to your home if necessary, which can be incredibly useful if your home experiences a power outage.
