CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19)

Precise Plumbing & Electrical is committed to maintaining a safe healthy working environment for our staff and customers and appreciate the additional health risks of our senior clients as well as those clients with young children.

We would appreciate the support of our customers in identifying ANY occupants deemed vulnerable before we enter.

As a company we are continually monitoring the latest Coronavirus Federal updates and taking all necessary precautions, including following all government recommendations to ensure we help maintain a healthy community by preventing the spread of Coronavirus.

As such the following restrictions and precautionary measures are effective immediately;

All Staff:

  • All company meetings have been postponed until further notice
  • Department meeting numbers are not to exceed 5ppl
  • Practise frequent and thorough hand washing with soap or alcohol-based hand rub
  • All staff to have their temperature tested whenever they are at the office and if above 37 degrees will be asked to go home
  • You will be encouraged to stay home if you’re sick or not feeling well
  • Practise respiratory etiquette, including covering coughs and sneezes
  • Do not use other workers’ phones, desks, offices, or other work tools and equipment, where possible
  • Sanitise your work areas regularly
  • Minimise all face to face work requirements where possible (some staff may be asked to work from home)
  • Advise customers of our procedures and requirements and remind them to reschedule any work if they are unwell, have travelled overseas or have been in contact with someone who may be exposed to Coronavirus

On Site:

  • Identify any occupants on site that may be deemed more vulnerable to the coronavirus before we enter in particular young children and the elderly
  • Ensure customers do no enter your workspace and that you maintain a 2m distance from them for their health and yours
  • Do not shake customers hands
  • Use face masks and latex gloves where vulnerable occupants are present or as requested
  • Ensuring hand hygiene before and after visiting sites by practising frequent and thorough hand washing with soap or alcohol-based hand rubs if running water is not present
  • Maintain regular housekeeping practices, including routine cleaning and disinfecting of surfaces, equipment, and other elements of the work environment
  • Advise customers of our procedures and requirements and remind them to reschedule any work if they are unwell, have travelled overseas or have been in contact with someone who may be exposed to Coronavirus
