Design Presentation & Quote
Once your design consultant has a clear understanding of the work you require, we can then craft you a tailored design and quote for your renovation project. Our designers apply their expertise to provide a custom bathroom layout that fulfils form and function and the lifestyle, personality, and vision captured in your design brief. Our interiors experts work to provide you with a range of options for suitable fittings and fixtures within your renovation budget. Design is their passion, and considerable thought and care go into crafting you a beautiful, functional bathroom. The design is presented in person with your renovation project quote so that you have an opportunity to ask questions and discuss options.
Consent Requirements
The design process also enables us to identify if renovating your bathroom requires council or strata management consent. In terms of council consent, if 1) significant structural changes are required to renovate your bathroom or if you 2) increase the number of plumbing fixtures – by adding a toilet or shower, even a handbasin or laundry fittings – the project will require council consent. Whereas upgrading plumbing fixtures – a new water-efficient toilet, shower head or taps – does not require consent. Our team can advise and are happy to facilitate the council consent process and work with strata management. Experience and industry knowledge enables us to navigate any legal requirements on your behalf if required.
Bathroom Product Selection & Project Scheduling
Now for the fun part! Following signoff, you have the opportunity to visit our supplier showrooms to confirm selections for your new bathroom. Your interior designer will accompany you to advise and offer options and provide a sounding board for decision-making. Your design team can take care of the selection process for you. However, your involvement at this stage is key to creating a space that reflects your aesthetic. We also schedule your project start date to align with your schedule.
Bathroom Renovation Begins – 15 Day Turnaround*
Work begins! We have all your bases covered with a team of qualified builders and designers, plumbers and gasfitters, tilers and electricians who all work hard to ensure your renovation experience is as hassle free and as least intrusive as possible. For standard bathroom renovations we can be in and out, start to finish in as little as 15 working days*. Some conditions apply. On the bigger jobs, this timeframe can vary and require a sizeable team to be in your home. Rest assured, we understand your home is your haven, and it is our job to ensure you feel secure in your home during every stage of renovation, repair or refit. 15 Day Turnaround applies to ‘Standard Bathroom Renovations’. A standard bathroom renovation is a ground floor renovation not including ceiling, floor, window, door, underfloor drainage alterations, removal and or replacement. All tiles, sanitaryware, fixtures and fittings must be on site prior to the commencement of any work. Larger bathroom renovations requiring any of the abovementioned alterations can be completed in 20 working days.
