The original bathroom was confined, with a separate toilet that restricted movement. To enhance functionality, we removed the partitioning wall, opening the space to allow for ease of mobility. The new layout provides ample room for a wheelchair user, ensuring safety, comfort, and independence in everyday use.
The renovation features a barrier-free walk-in shower, eliminating steps or obstructions that could be a challenge. The twin privacy walls subtly separate the showering area while maintaining an open, accessible design. A strategically placed shower niche ensures essential items remain within easy reach without cluttering the space.
A combination of soft grey wall tiles and terrazzo-style flooring creates a neutral, contemporary backdrop, making the space feel light and open. The floating timber vanity adds warmth and a natural touch, perfectly complementing the sleek mirrored cabinetry above.
